2024年6月12日，SAUEI团队与中国石油大学国际教育学院团队就非洲学生来华留学项目展开会谈，中国石油大学团队表示，加纳是一个矿产资源丰富的国家，学校专业也涉及了很多矿产地质相关的工作，对学生毕业后的就业问题提供了很大帮助，同时也非常欢迎非洲及加纳学生报考本校。双方就本科的学历项目及其他合作项目深度讨论并达成协议。
中国石油大学（华东）是教育部直属、教育部和五大能源企业集团公司、教育部和中国山东省人民政府共建的全国重点大学，是国家“双一流”“211工程”建设高校，同时是一所以工为主、石油石化特色鲜明、多学科协调发展的大学，被誉为“石油科技、管理人才的摇篮”。截至2024年5月，学校总占地面积5000余亩，建筑面积130余万平方米。

China University of Petroleum (East China) is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, jointly established by the Ministry of Education, five major energy enterprise groups, the Ministry of Education, and the People's Government of Shandong Province, China.
